An interesting fact about Nury Vittachi that his readers might not know: Despite heavy commercial promotions in English over the years in Hong Kong and overseas, Nury Vittachi is virtually unknown to the Cantonese-speaking natives — 95% of HK's general population. Because of the language, cultural, and social barriers, the truth of the matter is that Hongkongers in general have little interest in reading a blog such as Nury Vittachi's.
